Caroline was brave enough to try the shell border.
At first, she was afraid she would mess up the cake, but I reminded
her that she had practiced the night before and could take it off it she messed up.
So she gave it a try and was happy with her efforts.

Mackenzie helped by eating icing. She added a few dots on the side,
though she doesn't have the strength to squeeze the icing by herself yet.
Scott did a few shells and stars as well.

A talented cake decorator at church is teaching a series of cake decorating classes. Caroline joined me for the latest class and really enjoyed learning some techniques. I think designing and decorating cakes will become a new family tradition. The kids just love it!
