Caroline has always LOVED flowers. As a toddler, she'd want to pick flowers from our neighbors yards as we took walks. Of course I wouldn't let her, but she is the reason we began planting flowers in our own yard. I took the girls on a bike ride in the circle the other night and it didn't take Caroline long to notice some purple flowers (weeds) growing nearby. She gathered handfuls of them and put them in the bag on the front of her bike. She was SO excited to pick flowers. When I look and and see weeds, I think "I need to call TruGreen because they're not doing a good job with weed control." It's really sweet that these purple weeds bring such a beautiful smile to Caroline's face. Cute sidenote: when Caroline saw the picture, she said, "I should have taken off my bike helmet for the picture." She is growing up!
